Mr. Nordin was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy when he was admitted to a local acute care hospital due to weakness.
Unfortunately, there were complications with his treatment that caused his system to become septic requiring treatment for infection. He was then admitted to PAM Specialty Hospital of Victoria for continued care for sepsis with antibiotics and specialty physician care.
We are proud to write that Mr. Nordin has come a long way and has shown a great deal of improvement in spite of multiple medical challenges. He stated that,
“The nursing staff and therapists have been great and I am in good hands with the doctors here.”
We look forward to seeing him improve his stamina and mobility so he can have his required bladder surgery. He has overcome so much adversity through this experience and we know he will reach his ultimate goal of going home.
