A long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) is recommended for those who require complex medical management, therapeutic care and rehabilitation services -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with daily assessment of the patient by a physician. Persons requiring long-term acute care are generally: Admitted directly from the ICU Medically and physically compromised with multi-system complications and/or failures that require hospitalization. In need of extended acute care, but have the potential for recovery and may then transition home or to the next level of care.
Through our In-patient services we help those who are ready to return home but still need therapy on a daily or weekly basis. Patients will find specialized therapy equipment in the In-patient therapy area designed to enhance strength and endurance. Clinicians also work with patients to design a home therapy program – with our ADL ( Activities of Daily Living) Kitchen and Bathroom we are able to train for a home environment discharge.

This does not reflect the cost of care by the patient, that is determined by insurance coverage unique to each individual.
