Juan Arenas

Dr. Arenas is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who practices providing medical care for complex long term acute care patients. This includes caring for those patients requiring respiratory and wound care management as well as rehabilitative care. He is originally from Venezuela. He completed his medical training and residency as a general surgeon in Venezuela. After relocating to the United States he spent two years as a research fellow at Wake Forest in North Carolina followed by a second residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University. He shares his enthusiasm for golf, soccer, mountain biking and outdoor activities with both his wife and daughter. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our hospital and strives for providing high value/quality care to patients with complex medical needs in the post-acute setting.
