PAM Health and Kettering Health to Open
        Dayton Rehabilitation Hospital in May

Dayton, OH —PAM Health and Kettering Health announced that they will soon be opening a state-of-the-art, 62-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Dayton, Ohio. PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Miamisburg, slated to open in May, is a joint venture with Kettering Health, a leader in providing patient-focused healthcare to residents in the region. The new facility will be PAM health’s second hospital in Ohio, joining PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Dayton.
“PAM Health is excited to bring comprehensive care for rehabilitation patients with complex conditions to the Dayton community,” says Anthony Misitano, Chairman and CEO. “Throughout all the communities we serve, we put the patient first and provide comprehensive, individualized treatment that fosters meaningful improvement and recovery for people with injuries, illnesses and disabilities.”

The new hospital features a physician-led team of rehabilitation experts focused on a common goal of increasing patient strength and endurance and improving quality of life for patients who have experienced stroke, brain injury, neurological disease and deficits, amputations, pulmonary disease, orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injury, and medically complex conditions.

“Kettering Health and PAM Health are both committed to meeting the healthcare needs of our communities,” says Erica Schneider, chief operating officer of Kettering Health Main Campus and interim leader of Kettering Health Miamisburg. “This joint venture will connect patients to expanded services and extend the reach of compassionate care in the area.”

Opening the inpatient rehabilitation hospital, which also will offer outpatient services, in close proximity to its specialty hospital in Dayton is central to PAM Health and Kettering Health’s shared mission of providing patients with the vital services they need to optimize outcomes.
