“Throughout my career as a medical director, I have managed the overall care of employees involved in catastrophic and near catastrophic work injuries. These life-changing events require a best-in-class team approach,” Dr. Goren said. “I have dealt with PAM Health throughout my career. I have encountered an incredible group of people who have created some of the most innovative and successful approaches to many of the complex medical issues that patients and family members face during these most difficult times. It is for this reason that I have agreed to lend my experience as an advisor to the PAM health catastrophic and near-catastrophic work injury team. It will be my pleasure and my honor to work with some of the most talented physicians who care for these patients and their families who are being treated in their LTACs, acute inpatient rehab hospitals, and their specialty outpatient clinics. To me, the way that the PAM Health team cares for their patients and the associated outcomes for their patients who suffer these very complex medical events is true value-based care for all involved.”
