Charles Whitecotton came to PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Orange City on May 29 after suffering a left hip fracture in a work-related accident. His injury impacted his independence with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, and using the bathroom. He also required help getting in and out of bed and standing up and was unable to walk or climb stairs. Mr. Whitecotton required assistance with bed mobility, standing, bathing, and dressing. By discharge, Mr. Whitecotton had made incredible progress. He left PAM Health independent with getting in and out of bed, dressing, and toileting and needed only supervision for transfers and walking due to doctor-ordered non-weight-bearing restrictions for his leg. We are so proud to have been part of Mr. Whitecotton’s healing journey.

“I was blessed to be here. Everyone took such great care of me and now I am able to do things for myself again.”
