Hospital: PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen
Diagnosis: Spinal cord injury
Chad Nguyen, 52, is an avid cyclist who was involved in a severe accident while riding his bike during the summer of 2024. He suffered a spinal cord injury that left him unable to move his legs or feet, as well as facial lacerations and a chipped tooth. He underwent surgery to repair his damaged vertebrae and came to PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen for therapy to work on regaining function and strength.

When he arrived at PAM Health, Mr. Nguyen was severely limited in his ability to move from the waist down, requiring a platform walker to walk. Through his hard work, the dedication of our expert therapists, and the unwavering support and love from his wife Tina who was by his side during his whole stay, he made tremendous progress and walked out of PAM Health on his own during his discharge!
We are honored to have been part of your journey, Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen, and look forward to continue working with you in outpatient therapy!
