Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation at PAM Health

At PAM Health’s inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, we provide an intensive, personalized program to help patients regain strength, independence, and quality of life. With 24-hour nursing care, daily physician supervision, and a minimum of 3 hours of therapy 5 days a week, our dedicated team will support patients through their recovery journeys with compassion and expertise.

Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRF) versus
Skilled Nursing Facilities and Rehab Centers (SNFs)

There are significant differences in both the type and the outcomes of care provided in an acute rehabilitation hospital versus that provided in a skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center. Research shows that the amount and type of therapy services, physician oversight and specialized rehabilitation nursing provided in an acute rehabilitation hospital leads to better patient care and outcomes.

The Joint Commission (TJC) has accredited all of our rehabilitation hospitals, demonstrating our commitment to high quality hospital level care. In addition, we are committed to meeting specialized standards for certain programs through TJC’s Disease Specific Certification Programs.
