Our Wound Care Clinic offers advanced therapies such as negative pressure wound therapy (wound VAC), hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), enzymatic or surgical debridement, skin grafting or flap reconstruction, biologic dressings, and topical growth factors or platelet-rich plasma as appropriate.
Yes. PAM Health’s team evaluates and treats infected wounds with wound cleansing, culture-guided antibiotics (oral or IV), incision and drainage when needed, sterile dressings, and debridement to remove infected tissue.
Patients with chronic non-healing ulcers (diabetic, venous, or pressure), compromised tissue after radiation or surgery, severe infections, or wounds failing standard care are commonly evaluated for advanced therapies like HBOT, VAC, grafting, or biologics.
Radiation injuries are managed with careful wound care, debridement (if needed), topical agents to control infection and inflammation, reconstructive procedures when required, and often hyperbaric oxygen therapy to promote tissue repair and reduce complications.
HBOT delivers 100% oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure to boost oxygenation of tissues, reduce swelling, fight infection, and stimulate new blood vessel growth, often accelerating healing for chronic, ischemic, or radiation-related wounds. Treatments are typically given as a series of daily sessions over weeks and are used alongside other wound therapies.
Patients should bring a list of medications, recent wound photos if available, and wear comfortable clothing. In addition, for those receiving HBOT, avoid wearing petroleum-based products (deodorant, etc.) and bring a list of medical devices and implants.
